Rush Limbaugh Thinks The Dark Knight Rises is Promoting Obama

Sentient bag of mayonnaise and radio talk show host, Rush Limbaugh, thinks the villain in The Dark Knight Rises is named Bane to brainwash people into voting for Obama because it will remind people about Mitt Romney's time running Bain Capital.  Limbaugh said this on his radio program yesterday to his legion of fans from real 'Murica (fuck yeah). That happens to be the same time the company closed a bunch of factories and shipped jobs overseas while Romney simultaneously became even more filthy stinking rich while maniacally laughing over blueprints for his weather machine.

"Mitt Romney is my homeboy".  Via Fotopedia.

I don't know Rush, that seems like a stretch.  Then again, maybe Obama knew this was going to happen in 1993 when the Batman villain was created.  Yeah, it just makes too much sense.  Obama's team of secret communist psychics planted the seed of a mudslinging campaign 19 years before said campaign even got started.  They created the villain, pulled strings to make sure the Satanists at Warner Bros. hired Christopher Nolan to reboot Batman as a gun hating democrat, and bribed Nolan with three Hawaiian islands to make Bane the villain in the third movie.  That must be why the movie includes a line from Bane saying, "When Gotham is ashes, you have my permission to die".  He was talking about Gotham factories to hard working factory workers that Mitt Romney in no way laid off!  No sir, not that true American.  He's so American, he doesn't even know what a soccer ball is.  But if he saw one, he would instinctly hate it.

Moments before the ball caused the BP oil spill.

Sarcasm aside, is Rush Limbaugh that out of touch?  I know he is a racist, sexist, homophobic, pain killer addicted, hateful bigot the size of Pluto, but does he actually believe the things he says?  The connection he thinks is there doesn't exist.  It's about as likely as the Avengers brainwashing us into hating special ops military units because Nick Fury assembled a team that includes a scientist who probably believes in evolution and is also a dangerous rage monster who can destroy a city by himself.  Plus, that movie makes us think America's enemies are lead by a demi-god with an elaborate hat!  It's a ploy to make us hate the Pope!  I bet Captain America was born in Canada too!

Actually, the Avengers analogy isn't very good.  Limbaugh obviously knows America's enemies are gay sex and women who leave the kitchen.

"If only I stopped Loki before he gave that lady an abortion."

The funniest part of this is that even if there was a connection between the Batman villain Bane and Mitt Romney, Limbaugh is just upset that the connection was made.  The fact that Nolan would be calling Mitt Romney a villain indirectly in this case?  NOT AN ISSUE.  He's okay with that I guess, but this is a guy who probably thought Christians were the good guys during the Crusades.  The connection wouldn't even be an issue if, you know, Mitt Romney didn't take inspiration from comic villains while working at Bain Capital.  If only Romney would have replaced all his employees with penguins, then Limbaugh could complain about Batman Begins instead and how that movie did not accurately portray Romney's platform of "more penguins with back mounted rockets for everybody".

The Dark Knight Rises has absurdly high expectations (so high that I think the movie will come up a little short for me) and is expected to rival the Avengers in box office sales.  However, if the movie has even a slight influence on the presidential race, I will eat a light bulb.  Rush Limbaugh is insane, this is not news, but this opinion on a Batman villain seems crazy for even the craziest of "Obama is an alien from the planet SocialistTaxTopiaVille and his healthcare law makes George Washington cry" crazy people.

Even the Joker thinks Limbaugh is crazy, although when he heard of what Limbaugh said, he nearly laughed to death.  Laughing at what he says is probably the best option though.  Rush Limbaugh everybody!  Making the Joker look sane.

Disclaimer:  This article is satirical and Rush Limbaugh isn't nearly as relevant as people think he is.  He has to keep saying crazy things for people to pay attention.  It's the only way a Gamorrean from Star Wars can have a job on the radio.

3 Ways to Fix Our Battered Economy

Criminals run everything. That’s an undisputed fact. Like, 100% undisputed. And that’s why the American economy is sicker than I get the morning after Tequila Tuesdays at my neighborhood taco shop. They love me there. The owner always calls me “Gringo” and “Pendejo” which he says mean “Friend” and “Stellar Guy.” I love that place…

But back to the state of our current financial hell. We certainly seem to be up shit’s creek. And much of the world seems to be right there with us. Somewhat because of us, in fact. And then there are the countries that aren’t suffering so badly, but those aren’t great places to live anyway. Look at China, for example. The chief reason that their economy is doing so well is because they’re totally fine with cutting down every tree they have just so they can build one more factory, smog is their number one export, and they haven’t spent any money on fuel since they discovered that peasants and excess baby girls burn as efficiently as coal. There’s no way Americans would want to live like that. Plus, we don’t have that many extra babies.

What we need to do is focus on our own specific problems, analyze them in minute detail, and come up with sound fiscal plans. As it stands, though, identifying our problems is about as difficult as putting your whole fist in your mouth (i.e. fairly easy), but coming up with a plan is as difficult as getting your fist back out of your mouth (i.e. “Itth acgualllly wullly hawd”).

You can look at the situation that’s been going on with questionable business practices and how that translates to trading on the stock market. Everyone agrees that there is a problem related to corporations and Wall Street (slide that fist in the mouth…), but then half the analysts argue that we need more oversight and stricter regulations, whereas the other half of the analysts call for no oversight and complete de-regulation. Oh, look at that. Your fist is stuck in your mouth. Wow. It’s really jammed in there. And since we’re America, we slathered that fist with bacon grease thinking that would make it easier to pull out, and now… Hey! Hey, stop that America! Quit trying to eat your own fist! God damnit, America. How embarrassing.

The baby can get his fist in his mouth. Now you should try it to prove
you're smarter than the baby.

But I, for one, can’t fix that problem with Wall Street and big business. I wish I could. I could have gone to business school, studied macroeconomics and the ever-changing dynamic global capitalistic market, but I didn’t. I studied English Literature and got an arts degree instead. Sorry mom and dad. Now I can dexterously discuss Proust and Shakespeare, I can provide an in-depth critique of postmodern texts, and I can even delve into… wait for it… gender studies. GASP! But I don’t have the necessary skills to talk about most of the economic problems we face right now that are all the rage in Washington debates. I briefly considered going back to school and earning a business degree in research for this post, but honestly, it takes me long enough to write one of these articles as it is, so I nixed that plan. Not to mention the fact that you’d have to be a complete fucking idiot to go back to school in this economic climate and incur more debt*. (*Note: this author just wasted TONS of money applying for grad school (Sorry mom and dad. Again))

No, I can’t help with those problems, but maybe I can still find my own ways to help with America’s economy. There are things we can all do, really, like saving our money, buying only practical items and not wasting our pay on frivolous purchases, making sound investments that help up-and-coming businesses grow, or eating healthy and exercising so we don’t spend all our money on doctors bills and shitty insurance plans that really don’t help us much anyway. But those are all common sense ideas. Anybody could come up with those. In fact, I’m sure 90% of Americans already do all that stuff. So our economy needs more than that. It needs some fresh ideas that no one’s thought of yet, and I just might be the man for the job.

1)   Get rid of the anti-smoking ads.
What used to be America’s best export? Not cars, not electronics, not steel. It was Cool. The best thing we gave the world was our Coolness. It started all the way back when the first travelers came across the Atlantic. They had the balls to sail uncharted waters in shitty weather and tell the kings and queens of their old countries, “Fuck you, I don’t need your shit anymore.” That’s the attitude of a teenager leaving their parents’ house to move in with some slutty boyfriend/girlfriend. It’s shortsighted and immature, but it worked out. This spirit continued with the badass pioneers and cowboys, which is when other countries really started to sit up and take notice of our crazy balls-to-the-walls method of doing things. We risked our lives to do shit that hadn’t been done before. Then some drunk hillbillies and blind black dudes got together and started a kind of music called Rock’n’Roll. There are countless other examples showcasing how absolutely Cool we were. It wasn’t perfect, by far, but Cool never is. That’s part of what makes it Cool though.

Somewhere along the way, we lost that. Now we have people on the left making us look like wussy babies, and people on the right making us look like cranky scared old fogeys. Now, when Americans feel that familiar impulse to be reckless, instead of plugging in an amp and playing a guitar chord so powerful it blows out our neighbors’ windows, we just Big-E-Size our fast food meals and get fat.

I was going to tag something scathing and political, but I got hungry and forgot.

We need to start smoking again. Everyone. Men. Women. Kids. Bring back the Marlboro Man and Joe Camel. Start airing commercials for filterless Lucky Strikes again. How cool was it that Obama used to smoke?!? We had a president that smoked. And then we lost that again. Well, kind of. I have a sneaking suspicion that Obama still smokes on occasion, just not in front of Michelle or his daughters, or any cameras. Think about it: you know in your heart that when they saw the footage of U.S. troops kill Osama Bin Laden, Barack and Joe Biden lit up two huge cigars, drank beers, and laughed their asses off all night until they both puked. My point is, if we get rid of the anti-smoking ads and get everyone smoking, then the rest of the world will start to think we’re Cool again. They’ll want to be like us just the way they used to. If they think America is badass, they will buy all of our other shit so they can emulate us to the max!

Residual Effects: With the anti-smoking ads gone, pro-smoking ads will return, along with other reckless, crazy, cool ads for other bullshit, and after all it’s really advertising that has always driven the American economy. Also, due to the abysmal health problems associated with smoking, we will pump all of our money into the healthcare and insurance industries which can become the new backbone of America’s financial growth.

2)  We need more Katy Perry music videos.
Hey, don’t get pissed at me for saying that. I hate her music more than most people. I hate her music more than your neighborhood pedophile hates it when you’re being an attentive parent. I’m just the messenger. This is the medicine, and you’ll just have to choke it down.

Why will this work? Because, sadly, there are enough people who like her music. Then, beyond the tendency of masses of people to like horrendous music, lays the phenomenon that when pop music stars are at their peak popularity, they attract the attention and energy of Every Other Pop Music Star In The Universe. Their popularity becomes a type of gravitational pull, drawing more and more trite music stars into their field of influence, regardless if those other “artists” are popular or not themselves. Eventually, the force becomes so intense that a MegaPopBlackHole forms, consuming MTV (all of them), entertainment/gossip shows, the radio, magazines, the internet, and iTunes. This is a phenomenon, called the Neal-Einstein Quantum Suckfest, in which the pop star’s crappiness is exponentially proportional to how massively popular they can become with the addition of more crappy stars. That’s a real law of theoretical physics, by the way. You could look it up, but you don’t have a physics textbook.

This SuckFest briefly formed after a rumor that Lady Gaga and Coldplay would get together for a Hamburger Helper commercial on the Opera Network.

Katy Perry is nearly at this level of super-stardom. Don’t get me wrong, I know she’s already huge and successful, but she’s not quite there. Let’s review her progression to the Quantum Suckfest. She apparently kissed a girl and apparently she liked it. That’s great. Annoyingly catchy song sure to piss off parents, make teenagers giggle, and then add to that the irony that she’s made ignorant homophobic comments in the past. Then she has some dumb and over-sexed song/video with Snoop Dogg in it for some reason. More pissed off parents, more giggling teenagers, and more pop culture paradoxes. Next, she marries Russell Brand (and is now probably divorcing him). Finally, we’re getting to the point where the pop gravitational forces are sucking so hard that I’m getting light-headed.

What we need now to push this mess over the edge is for Perry to come out with a song/video incorporating Rebecca Black and Justin Bieber. The song can be titled, “Saturday: the follow-up to ‘Friday’ because Saturday comes after Friday.” Timbaland can produce it, then Weezer can show up for some reason, and the video will have some of those “I Can Has Cheezburger” cats in it. The media will go nuts. The video will stream on the internet and play repeatedly on Fox News around the clock. Rumors of a Perry/Black/Bieber threesome will be so shocking and titillating that it will boost digital sales of the song, and the scandal will revive the printed newspaper. Finally, the porn industry will make countless movies of the “Saturday Threeway,” hiring so many “actors” that the unemployment rate will drop to negative numbers.

Residual Effects: Russell Brand gets jealous of all the attention his (ex-)wife is getting, so he continues to star in and ruin remakes of more classics like “Arthur” which keeps dumb people going to the theater. Or the world completely fucking ends.

3)  We need a tax on Douchebag Words.
Okay, so I already said that I didn’t have a solution to the complicated and troublesome relationship between corporations, the stock market, and government regulation, but this idea comes close. I know I’m not an analyst, so my idea can’t really rely on math and statistics. I can’t even use the knowledge of the past that a historian might utilize to predict and ultimately control the flow of future financial market trends. Rather, my idea has to do with holding our leaders accountable.

In the political arena you can see a lot of people standing on their soapboxes. I mean, what are they doing up there on boxes of soap anyway? And this is even worse now that it’s election season. Yet, for all the yelling, all the hot air, and all the finger pointing, these politicians have no real answers or substantial solutions. There's just a lot of that Fist In Mouth Disease going around. Like I mentioned earlier, half of them want stricter rules and the other half want looser rules. And maybe they want more soap too? I'm not sure, I'm still trying to figure that one out. Regardless, the people in government, and even the citizens of this country, are so evenly divided that neither side can out-vote the other. It’s a stalemate.

But what seem to be of agreement are the words. Both sides use the same tools, the same rhetoric, the same vocabulary. And it’s all god-damned fucking terrible! Each time I hear one of these sacks of shit say, “Main Street versus Wall Street,” it makes me vomit blood. Every single time one of these POLITICIANS on the election circuit tries to blame “those people in Washington” for the mess we’re in my testicles scrunch back up into my abdomen. This goes double for Obama since I actually kind of like that dude. But when he uses those same buzzwords to try to rally his political base, he sounds like a twat.

Oh Holy Shit Bile Just Shot Out Of My Eye Sockets!!!!

That’s why we need to institute a tax on Douchebag Words.

We keep arguing about taxes. Do we need to tax the rich, or the banks? Are there already too many taxes? Should there be a flat tax? Do we need the Estate Tax? Should the wealthy and privileged Americans pull more economic weight than people who don’t have any money? Stop asking these questions. I propose that instead of arguing about whether to tax the rich, we tax the politicians who make our mess stickier than the green-brown blob in my fridge.

Who runs for office? The wealthy. But not just any type of wealthy. They are the people who have so much excess money and time, and such an urge to tell other people how to act that they go into politics.  They make Lex Luthor look like an adorable kitten who donates millions of dollars to charity. Poor people can’t afford to run for office. And decent/sane people are afraid to do it because some opponent will come out with an attack ad claiming that the decent/sane person may have had sex with a dog while performing an abortion to fund lesbian Islamists from Mexico.

We don’t need to just tax the rich. We need to tax the Douchebag Words used by the people who happen to be rich, crazy, and full of bullshit enough to run for office. “Main St. vs. Wall St.” Oops, Douchebag Word Tax. “Our nation’s REAL values…” Oops, you just got Douchebag Word Taxed! “I think what America really needs…” Oh, you just cost yourself $400,000. Wait, you just made some speech in Iowa where you compared/contrasted the Tea Party in any way to Washington Fat Cats twenty-three times? Ah, I’m sorry, that will cost you a hundred bucks each.

The Douchebag Word Tax will force politicians to do something they haven’t had to do since long before the McCarthy Hearings: think before they speak. Before they regurgitate the same hack lines they think voters will respond to, they will have to check their wallets. The other bonus is that, unlike any of the current plans to fix the American economy, the Douchebag Word Tax has a legitimate chance of passing a popular vote.

Residual Effects: Rich douchebags go broke for talking out their asses, simultaneously paying off America’s absurd debt. Also: some goddamned peace and quiet for a change.

One Prediction Down Already. White House Won't Support SOPA, PIPA

I didn't plan on revisiting "5 Predictions for 2012" so early, but I am astonished how quickly one of my predictions got shot down like the Mexican air force.  Without even making it half way through January, one of my predictions has been severely injured.  The chances of this prediction happening now is about as likely as Bruce Willis coming out and claiming he used to be a woman.  I guess this means I'm not a psychic, but that won't stop me from continuing my business venture of 1-900-Psyc-XXX.  Call the number and I will read you your fortune, then have phone sex with you.  Females only.  Okay, males too for an increased fee.

The prediction I'm talking about is number 4, "A bill like SOPA or Protect-IP will pass and change the Internet dramatically."  The White House has just officially announced their opposition to these two bills.  This is probably due to the large backlash and because Rupert Murdoch, who is obviously the Devil or a Bond villain, loves these bills.  The bills have broad support in Congress but it's probably not broad enough to defeat a presidential veto.  It's similar to how NASCAR has broad support but not enough to have people waste 8 hours of their day off listening to commentators talk about camshafts.  They are popular, just not popular to smart people.

Of course I hedged my bets with this prediction by claiming a different but similar bill than SOPA or PIPA could pass but I forgot the fact that Congress moves slower than Aquaman working up the courage to talk to a girl.  When these bills are defeated, it isn't very likely Congress will bring up more Internet anti-piracy bills in 2012.  When Congress get hot on a topic, they love it long time.  It seems more likely that an anti-piracy bill won't actually pass till 2018, when the Internet will be implanted in our brains and the Pirate Bay will provide torrents to peoples thoughts.  If somebody ends up watching a torrent of my thoughts, man, I hope they enjoy Starship Troopers.

And don't get me wrong, thinking I'm complaining that these bills won't pass.  They're as good as deep fried weasel testicles.  It's a GOOD thing that the White House would veto these bills in their current form.  Otherwise, if these bills pass, I would have to write my stupid articles on Word, print out copies at FedEx office, and hand them out to people on the street who will probably just toss them in the trash.  I would have to abandon the Robot Hooker Party name if that happens too.  Vagrants on the street might get excited thinking that I'm inviting them to an event that their hobo minds can't quite comprehend.

For more on SOPA, view the video below.  It's a little long (over 21 minutes) but worth it.

Authors note:  I know SOPA and especially PIPA (which should be going to a vote in a week) are not dead.  It's just the threat of a Presidential veto and the Jan. 18th SOPA protest raising awareness to people who had their heads in the sand has made it much more difficult for them to become law.

5 Predictions for 2012

The new year is here and I do have a blog so...prediction time?  Yeah, I think so.  It's practically Internet law.  Some dude from Blogger threatened me with crotch kicks if I don't.

So here is five predictions for 2012 ranging from pop culture to politics.  Yeah, I just wrote both of those words and it didn't read, "Pop culture and politics should never be in the same sentence unless to say that pop culture and politics should never be in the same sentence."  Deal with it.

Just like London dealt with their crappy 2012 Olympic logo

1.  JK Rowling will officially start writing a new Harry Potter (HP) Novel

Or more accurately, Rowling will succumb to pressure from publishers and Warner Bros. to write another one because they presumably need to buy more exotic animals to hunt.   Seemingly every year for the last decade, there was a HP movie being released (I know there are only eight movies, shut up!).  Those movies brought in more money than an Atlanta Walmart's gun department so there is no way they want that money well to dry up. The HP franchise probably made more money than the Star Wars franchise in the last decade since George Lucas has nothing to do with HP.  If he did, Voldemort would have had lines like, "Misa hurt you Harry Potta!  Misa hurt you vewy, vewy, bad!" and Rowling would know the feeling of being universally hated by all her fans.

You will love the changes made in the 2020 re-release of the books or be destroyed!

Sure, Rowling hasn't officially said she won't write another one, so admittedly this prediction isn't all that bold.  She is already writing some HP supplemental projects kind of like how J.R.R. Tolken decided to OCD the fuck out of the history of middle-earth (want to know who is Frodo's great-great-great-granduncle?  Tolken wrote about him in Appendix 19.3.6.3AF14).  New Harry Potter media will continue to come out and unlike Lord of the Rings, it seems much more likely to achieve that Star Wars level of continuous fandom.  Speaking of Lord of the Rings...

2.  The Hobbit will fail to meet expectations.

How long has this movie been in development?  At first, Peter Jackson was going to direct it, then he decided to only produce it and it was rumored that Guillermo Del Toro was going to direct, then that fell through and Peter Jackson dropped off the project entirely, only to eventually come back and direct it anyway.  It took a long time to come to a decision that they already made years ago.  It almost seems like Hollywood is a fickle, self-centered, greedy, clusterfuck of hookers and cocaine induced fever dreams.  Huh.  Who knew?

This movie would have done great a few years removed from Return of the King but now the trilogy feels older than the invention of pants.  It's just too long a time span for this.  Plus, The Hobbit doesn't have the epic feel of the Lord of the Rings.  Did anybody actually watch the trailer and think this is a prequel of epic awesomeness?

When in the LOTR timeline is Bilbo telling this story to Frodo?

What is going on here?  By just watching the trailer, you would think this is a story about a hobbit who invited a bunch of dwarves over to do circus tricks and sing depressing songs about geography.  Then some dark blue-grey color correction casted a shadow over the land and Gandalf didn't like that very much.  If you read the book, you know the story isn't really about how Bilbo got a ring with vaguely defined magic abilities.  Instead, the story is about Bilbo joining a band of dwarves to steal a treasure that is being guarded by a dragon named Smaug.  It's basically Oceans 11 only the Lonely Mountain is Las Vegas and Andy Garcia is a dragon.  The fate of the world isn't really at stake here.  Only Bilbo's bank account and I don't think any non-LOTR fans are going to care unless there is a very graphic hobbit sex scene in this movie.

3.  Some sort of Tim Tebow virginity scandal will happen this summer to give ESPN something to talk about.

Wow, jumping from hobbit boning in a fictional movie to a real person losing his virginity?  Yeah I just did that.  In your face.

There is no way in hell some attention seeking whore is NOT going to claim to have had sex with Tebow this summer after she disappears with him for an hour.  Actually, considering Tebow is a virgin, they probably only have to be alone for 5 minutes.  No way virgin boy lasts longer than that in a vagina.  The dudes plumbing must be backed up like a New York sewer.  The lady wouldn't have to worry too much about getting pregnant though since Tebow's accuracy isn't very good.

"I gotta hit that vagina on the post route"

Anyway, there is no better way to get famous than by claiming to sleep with the most famous person in the US right now.  Nobody will believe her except for a few conspiracy nuts who will cling to the fact that the two were spotted talking to one another in a hotel lobby.  Surely, their arguments will be sound.  "Anything could have happened after they left the lobby!  It's almost certain Tebow put his tebowner inside her!  Get that lady a book deal!...What do you mean it's already written?"

This prediction is less of an indictment on Tebow and more of a pessimistic view toward the vapid whores in our society.  It's also a pessimistic view on ESPN, a network that will surely talk about this 24/7 for an entire month because Tebow, Tebow, Tebow.  Although, if Tebow actually does lose his virginity in some "scandal", the only people who should care about it is evangelicals because Tebow has replaced Jesus in the "most-god like" category of their yearbooks.  Although, they could always spin it as "Tebow lost his virginity for our sins" just as long as Tebow doesn't trademark his name.

4.  A bill like SOPA or Protect-IP will become law and the Internet will change dramatically

For those of you who don't know, SOPA and PIP are two anti-piracy bills in the House and Senate respectively that will change the Internet as we know it.  Both bills are backed by powerful groups such as the RIAA and MPAA, otherwise known as those groups who like to sue 15 year olds for millions when they illegally download LMFAO's piece of shit album which is so bad, the RIAA should give you money to listen too.  Competing tech companies like Google, Facebook, Twitter, Apple, and many more have banded together to stop these bills because of their overreaching, draconian, anti-free speech measures. They are similar to laws that already exist in other nations, which is absurd because for all the ideas America could borrow from other countries, they decided on one from fucking Iran.  Surely, when we think of the leading nations in pioneering the Internet, Iran is the example we should live up too.  Yeah, and China is a leader in human rights.

I am not pro-piracy but these bills are dangerous as things like this very blog could be taken down due to someone simply claiming I used copyrighted material without consent regardless of if I did so or not.  Right now, if I use a picture I shouldn't, I would be sent a take down notice and I would be happy to oblige if they are correct or I could argue I used it in fair use.  If these bills pass, I will not be given any warnings or have any way to defend myself.  The blog will be blacklisted and just disappear.  It's almost cool in a John Dillinger kind of way but it's not cool in a "I won't have a blog anymore" kind of way.

Its funny that these are the bills that have bi-partisan support.  Important things?  Nah, money is at stake here.  Hollywood wants every dollar they can get out of Alvin and the Chipmunks:  Chipwrecked.  Hollywood needs that money too since Avatar only made a gajillion dollars. Universal Music Group wants every dollar it can get out of Katy Perry too because her voice needs 12 scientists working round the clock to keep her in tune.

Don't laugh, but there is $75,000 worth of scientific instruments in that tutu.

These bills also have bi-partisan opposition so they may not pass.  However, this does provide further evidence about who our leaders actually are, lobbyist puppets.  The fate of the Internet is being decided by people who know nothing about it.  If these bills pass, by this measure, I should protect the nuclear launch codes because I am clearly qualified to do so.  Don't piss me off Papua New Guinea.  You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.  You're lucky Obama (who likes these bills by the way) doesn't have a grudge against nations who put the word "New" in the middle of their name.

Hey.  Obama reference!  What a segue...

5.  Obama will win re-election.

There is nobody in the Republican field of potential candidates who stands a chance.  Rick Perry?  He has only offended every demographic in the nation except white, christian, males.  Michelle Bachmann?  Maybe when she learns the US didn't gain it's independence from Germany in 1945.  Herman Cain?  The dude watches Pokemon.  Ron Paul?  The one Republican who keeps getting elected despite being hated by Republicans.  Newt Gingrich?  The guy's name is Newt!  At least with him as president, the terrorists won't hate us anymore.  Just laugh at us.

Mitt Romney will probably be the Republican nominee but he's sooooooo Mormon.  Like, really Mormon.  Did you know he was a Mormon?  The christian right might consider suicide if the choices are Obama or Romney.  Also, he has that problem of his Massachusetts healthcare law looking awfully similar to Obamacare.  It's almost as if the national healthcare law that Republicans hate more than a black guy getting gay married in a mosque, was modeled after Romney's.  He has more obstacles trying to get the presidency than a fat kid in Africa trying to get to a buffet.

"I am going to Mormon the fuck out of the presidency."

This probably won't even matter since some Mayan god is supposed to butt fuck the world before his second term even begins.   Actually, the 2012 doomsday prediction is probably my best bet.  It might not happen like the Mayans thought but I have a good feeling Kirk Cameron is going to steal a nuke and start a war with, lets say China.  My safest prediction yet!

Ayn Rand and Modern Republicans Attempt to Stay Wealthier Than You.

Authors note:  WARNING.  Political content ahead.  I don't usually write about political topics because most of politics is stupid.   Most politicians don't want to do anything good for the country.  They just want money and power.  The things they attach their name too is to achieve those ends. Half the time, the ideas they support are usually pet projects or something they couldn't give less of a shit about.  That said, it gives me an excuse to bitch about Ayn Rand.

For seemingly forever, much of the political scene has been dominated by talk about increasing taxes on "job creators" to help pay for needed spending and to pay off some of the debt.  Republicans, of course, hate this because it makes sense.  They think taxes will make them poor because six figures is poor to them.  It's a level of poverty so severe, some might have to sell their private jets.  Truly desperate times.

 It's okay, we have extras.

But why?  Why are so many Republicans against this tax increase despite nearly every poll showing 65% or more of people in favor of increasing taxes on """job creators""", including many Republican voters who apparently have no idea what their party stands for?  Why are so many against raising it back to the Clinton era level (39%), a time when the economy was doing so well, nobody thought twice about continuing to produce Full House for eight laugh-free seasons? Why do so many of them completely ignore the fact that Der Furher Reagan had the top marginal tax rate at 50% for most of his presidency yet Emilio Estevez never complained about being taxed too much?

The answer to these questions is because a lot of modern conservatism is being driven by Ayn Rand and her "Virtue of Selfishness".  And yes, it's as stupid as it sounds if you never had that Objectivist stage in your college years so many of us went through.  Most of us grew out of it though once we realized the world already tried her method and it was called the 1920's.

 It's okay.  We love squalor

Ayn Rand is a hack author and philosopher who loves Capitalism so much she named her dildo Mr. Wall Street.  The free market is the porn by which she double clicks her mouse while watching "job creators" sell toys with cheap, delicious lead paint.  She also hate fucks Communism to death with the power of 10 Joseph McCarthys.  She also has indirectly influenced the rise of Libertarianism even though hard core Rand fans claim her philosophy of Objectivism is different.  Economically, Objectivism is different from Libertarianism just like a dollar is different than four quarters or how Avatar is different than Dances With Wolves.

Her "Virtue of Selfishness" is the moral code by which people should live by and one in which absolutely nobody will ever, EVER misunderstand.  She has redefined selfishness into a word meaning "concern with one's own interests" while removing the "screw everybody else" part but then proceeds to screw everybody else.  It basically argues for everybody to strive to become an economic producing superhero, kind of like what Donald Trump thinks he is, but without that pesky helping people satisfaction.  However, if everybody succeeds and becomes a superhero, there is no need to help anybody. It's so boner inducingly idealistic that even utopias have developed erectile dysfunction.

All this technology yet not enough Viagra.

The problem is this moral code has little room for human error.  It is extremely anti-sacrifice.  If somebody fucks up economically, there is no safety net except for the safety net companies who can charge an absurd fee since, who else are you going to turn to motherfucker?  The government?  They don't have the power or the authority in this free market system.  Charity?  No free handouts in this society comrade.   All you got is the private sector and they care more about money then seeing somebody get back on their feet.  This is a system where loan sharks thrive and the only way to get a job is to physically fight every other applicant or blow the boss.  Then it stays just as bad once someone gets a job as they receive a welcome e-mail on their first day that just says, "Welcome to Thunderdome bitch!"

Ayn Rand's economic views lack realism.  There is no problem letting people climb the ladder, as long as there is a ladder.  Job Creators™ will place the ladders wherever they see fit, usually up the working classes ass, and make every step up as painful as fucking a blowfish.  Rand wants a free market completely free of government intervention on any level meaning the people at the top can make up their own rules.  Rand argues they will be rational and do whats best for their companies as if people have never acted irrationally in the history of human kind, you know, like that Communism thing she thought was irrational.  Plus, she must have missed that day at school where you learn what is best for a company (having as few employees as possible do the most work for as little pay as possible) means being a cruel tyrant.  This makes the starting out point a huge advantage for some people.  It is something that Rand knows quite well since she was born into a bourgeoisie, also known as Capitalist, social class.  It appears the one thing lacking in her philosophy of Objectivism is objectivity.

Excuse me!  As a rich person, I know we are raping, not wrecking, thank you very much.

Modern day Republicans use her arguments to support their belief in the free market clusterfuck.  They believe raising taxes on job creators® will make them not want to create more jobs because that's why unemployment is so low right now....

No wait.  That's not right is it?  It's almost as if these Jesus Christs of Business (job creators) just used the tax cuts to write themselves fat bonus checks and did not reinvest that money into their businesses, which would create jobs.  And it's almost as if a job creator* is actually just a rich douchebag who owns a gold toilet just so he can have some modicum of truth when he tells his trophy wife that the toilet is more valuable to him than some money grubbing whore.  This rich bag of dicks probably has a private jet just so he can fly to Africa and eat a giant sandwich in front of starving children. He probably has a stock portfolio filled with the truth to the Kennedy Assassination (the killer was his father, Richard Nixon), the cure for cancer (not profitable enough since he makes more money with his funeral home), and the electric car (doesn't do a good enough job compensating for his dick size).

*The term "job creator" is used loosely here.  Rich people rarely create jobs because they don't like to spend money, especially on things they can't own.

So just pass the tax increase (oh, and that jobs bill too).   When the oppositions best arguments come from Ayn Rand, then there is no reason anybody should listen to them.  Then again, people like to believe in fantasies.

Disclaimer:  This article is satirical and based on opinion.  Ayn Rands beliefs are not crazy everywhere.  Actually, maybe somebody should remind the Republicans that she was also a pro-choice Atheist.  Oh wait, sorry.  She was a godless baby murderer.  Better?
